Invisalign – the clear way to a great smile

For many young people, Invisalign is clearly the best choice – it’s orthodontic treatment that people can hardly see.

The Invisalign aligner is a lightweight, clear plastic casing that sits over your teeth. Each aligner is made especially to fit your teeth. It is important to consult a specially-trained orthodontist who can make sure that it is designed to do exactly what you need it to do. Ethos orthodontists have specialist training with Invisalign and can make sure the fit is just right for you.

The aligner is replaced regularly (about every couple of months) with a new aligner that brings your teeth even closer to your perfect smile.

These are some of the other advantages of Invisalign:

  • You can remove your aligner to eat meals and for special events
  • You can remove your aligner to clean your teeth
  • You need fewer visits to the orthodontist than you do with braces
  • You can view your own virtual treatment plan on the computer and see how your smile will look at the end of the treatment.

Tip of the month

If your gums bleed or become sore after flossing, do not panic. If you have not been flossing regularly then the gums will be inflamed and will bleed more easily. If the bleeding persists - see your dentist.
