Flexible Payment OptionsTreatments vary with the kind of service and the time it takes. This means that fees can vary a lot from one person to another. For some treatments, the fees are quite low. In all cases, we can offer a payment plan to suit your budget. The fees that we agree on at the beginning of your treatment cover the whole of that treatment - all of the materials needed, the visits that we plan, any unscheduled visits, provision of retainers and supervision in retention. Our Support for YouFirstly, we will recommend a treatment to you, and discuss the fees with you before you make any decisions. Then we'll help you choose the payment option that is best for you. We offer discounted fees if you prefer to make a single, up-front payment. We also offer standard payment plans, which include interest free terms of up to 16 months. You pay an initial fee, then make monthly payments. Alternatively, we can work with you to find a payment plan that suits you better. If you would like to discuss any of these options, please contact us. Other Financial Support - Health Benefit FundsHealth benefit funds can cover part of orthodontic services. You may be able to recover some of the fees. We have a list of questions that we suggest you ask your fund before you make a decision on your payment plan. Please contact us for our list. If you don't already have cover, and would only join a fund for the orthodontic rebate, we suggest you compare the orthodontic fees against the amount of the rebate and the amount that it would cost you to join - remembering that most funds don't offer a rebate unless you have been a member for more than a year. For more information on rebates, you will need to contact your fund directly. Other Financial Support – Tax RebateYou may qualify for a rebate from the Australian Taxation Office if your medical fees rise above a certain amount (or "threshold") in a year. This is called the "Medical Expense Tax Rebate". It is calculated when you do your income tax assessment. Orthodontists fees are counted as medical fees for this rebate. For the current amount of the rebate and of the threshold, contact your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office. |
