Marcus Tod

BDSC MDSC(QLD) FRACDS FADI

Marcus grew up in Brisbane and had braces himself as a teenager. The ‘gadgetry’ always fascinated him and he is still a ‘technology nerd’ keen to explore which new developments will work best for patients.

Marcus first met Kent at University of Queensland when they were both studying dentistry. Like Kent, he graduated with first class honours and spent a few years as a dentist before doing his master’s degree in orthodontics. He has also been an external examiner for postgraduate orthodontic students.

Like Kent, Marcus is a major sports fan and loves skiing, sailing, trekking and riding his dirt bike. When he’s not participating, he is watching the Reds, Broncos or State of Origin.

With three sons and a cattle farm to look after as well, his life never has a dull moment.

Marcus Tod works at our Upper Mt Gravatt, Clayfield and Toowong branches.

Tip of the month

If your gums bleed or become sore after flossing, do not panic. If you have not been flossing regularly then the gums will be inflamed and will bleed more easily. If the bleeding persists - see your dentist.
