Dr Steve Atkin joined Ethos in 2002. Steve is a Redcliffe boy, who graduated as a dentist from the University of Queensland in 1984. He moved to Thursday Island, where he worked at the local hospital and set up the School Dental Service throughout the Torres Strait. Read full bio

Tip of the month

If your gums bleed or become sore after flossing, do not panic. If you have not been flossing regularly then the gums will be inflamed and will bleed more easily. If the bleeding persists - see your dentist.
